PME 'Too Good To Be True' Plain Cake Mix - 500g

Devilishly delicious this cake mix by PME is simply 'too good to be true'! Simply add add oil and water to create a lovely moist, plain sponge cake or cupcakes. One pack will make a classic 8" cake or 20-24 cupcakes - depending on how generous you are with your portions!

To use

  1. Preheat oven to 160°C (fan oven)
  2. Grease the bottom and sides of a 7"-8" tin
  3. In a large bowl, mix the cake mix with the water and vegetable oil with a spatula or whisk for around 5 minutes. Pour the mix into your cake tin.
  4. Bake for 55 minutes or until a toothpick can be inserted and removed without cake mix on it. Cool for ten minutes in the tin, remove and rest on a cooling rack to cool completely for 1 hour.

For cupcakes, follow instructions 1-4 but pour the mixture into cupcake cases pre-inserted into a cupcake pan/tray. Bake for 25 minutes.

Sugar; WHEAT flour; vegetable oil (rapeseed); dried whole EGG; modified starch; WHEAT starch; raising agents: disodium diphosphate, sodium bicarbonate, potassium bicarbonate, calcium acid pyrophosphate; emulsifiers: mono-and diglycerides of fatty acids, propane-1,2-diolesters of fatty acids, sodium stearoyl-2-lactylate; dextrose; WHEAT gluten; stabiliser: xanthan gum

For Next Working Day Delivery please ensure that Express Delivery is selected and that your order is placed before 2pm. Please be aware that this is a working day service and does not include weekends or bank holidays. Orders placed before 2pm on Friday will be dispatched for delivery on Monday. Orders placed after 2pm on Friday and before 2pm on Monday will be dispatched for delivery Tuesday.

We aim to dispatch orders ASAP, although sometimes Standard Delivery orders will take up until the specified shipping time. Please allow for this when placing your order and ensure that you select the appropriate shipping method to receive your order in time.

Returns

If you wish to return unwanted products from your order then please simply please email info@craftcompany.co.uk with details of your name, contact phone number, order number, date of order, items to be returned and the reason for returning. When returning goods to us, please enclose a copy of your invoice along with details of which items are being returned and the reason for returning. We will then process a refund for the goods unless stated otherwise.

Please Note: Customised or personalised items are excluded from the regulations and cannot be returned. Due to food safety concerns, ready-made cakes are not subject to return unless considered faulty or not fit for purpose.
